1.Requirements:

Capital Mandarin School language programs are available to all individuals, given they meet the following criteria:

1. 18 years old or above (exceptions will be considered with parental approval documentation)
2. In good health
3. A high school graduate

2.Application

Email or Fax the following documents to Capital Mandarin Office by the Application deadline.

Within 5 days of receiving the complete application, Admissions will send a confirmation that you have a reserved placement in the program. Capital Mandarin School Programs will send an Acceptance Notice and Enrollment form to you.

3.Visa

The following Visa Types are available for China:

1. L Visa      For students studying in China for less than 3 months
2. F Visa      For students studying in China for less than 6 months
3. X Visa      For students studying in China for more than 6 months.?

All new students should apply for either an L Visa or an F Visa before departing to China. The type of visa will be determined by the students home country and duration of stay in China. Capital Mandarin School will provide the necessary documentation if a student is eligible to initially apply for an F visa. If the duration of the study program is longer than that of the original L or F Visa, Capital Mandarin School will have the visa extended to a new F or X visa once the student arrives in China.
You can apply for your L or F Visa at the Chinese Consulate in your home country. Many Consulates provide a mailing service if you are not able to apply for your visa in person. You may also contact a professional Visa company to apply for you. Before applying for your visa, you need to prepare the following documents:

1. Visa Application Form (completed)
2. A valid passport (it must be valid for a minimum of 6 months and/or the duration of your program)
3. Relevant visa application fee
4. 2 Passport size photos
5. A copy of the Letter of Invitation (provided by Capital Mandarin School)
6. A copy of the Confirmation Form (provided by Capital Mandarin School)

Visa Fee’s
Fees for Visas can vary from one country to another. Current fee details can be obtained from the Chinese Embassy website in your country.

How to Apply for Your Visa
Applicants should go in person, or organize a third party (e.g. Travel Agent or Visa company) to go for them to the Chinese Consulate in their home country and apply for an L or F Visa. The processing time is usually 5- 7 working days.

Confirmation Letter
Capital Mandarin School will send you a confirmation letter, which will include a summary of all fee's to be paid, details for making a payment, and a summary of your course and accommodation selections. Please note that admission will only be granted once full payment has been made. In case of visa rejection, all money will be refunded except for a $150 Processing Fee.

4.Payment (of Application and Enrollment Fees)

A. Program Application Fee:

Tuition Only and Accommodation Only students will need to pay a $100 (800 RMB) Processing Fee. In case of visa rejection, Capital Mandarin School will refund all payments, excluding the $100 (RMB) Processing Fee. Fee may be paid in one of three ways, by Bank Transfer, Bank or Cashier's Check. Save the bank receipt and fax or send it along with the other documents as proof of payment.

B. Program Payment Options:
The following payment options are acceptable:
①. Bank Transfer - Upon receipt and review of your application, Capital Mandarin School will provide you with bank transfer details and a summary of program charges. All program details will be finalized only after Capital Mandarin School receives full payment. Program Fee’s should be paid in full a minimum of 2 weeks before each program begins.
②. Cash: Chinese RMB only
Cash can be paid in advance by students already in Beijing. Payments are accepted in person at our Guo Mao address. Please note, bank drafts and personal checks are not accepted at this time.
NOTE: Applying applicant is responsible for paying all bank charges.

5.Arrival

Send a fax or email to advise your Programs Advisor or the Beijing Office of your flight details: date, time of arrival, airline, flight number, and place of departure, so that we can arrange your airport reception. Please forward this information no later than 10 days before your arrival. Program Fees do not include airfares.
