Accommodation

Capital Mandarin School has several accommodation options available to students, all within close proximity to the school. Careful consideration has been made to ensure that all school sponsored housing is both safe and comfortable. Both single and double occupancy options are available.
All accommodation will be prepared prior to each student’s arrival in China. Standard accommodation fee’s include one day prior to program start date until one day after program completion. Extra accommodation time is subject to availability and charged on a per day basis. Current accommodation options include:

Home Stay
The best option for students wanting to quickly master the Chinese language and experience Chinese culture is our Home Stay accommodation option. Home Stay students are given the opportunity live and learn with a Chinese Host Family. Each Host Family is carefully selected based on a number of factors, including: convenient location, comfort and cleanliness of the home environment, quality of the meals provided, educational background, and lifestyle. Daily contact with your Host Family will ensure rapid progress of your Chinese language skills and provide a wealth of cultural knowledge. For privacy and convenience, all Home Stay options provide a private room for students. Each room is furnished with new and modern furniture, including a bed, desk, chair and a closet. Additionally, two daily meals (breakfast and dinner), electricity, gas, and water are all included in the Package Program fee's. International telephone calls will incur additional charges and are to be paid by the individual.

Apartment
Students can choose to live in one of the best and most well-known apartment complexes in all of Beijing. All apartments are in close proximity to the school, as well as a variety of shopping, restaurants, gyms and transportation centers (so traveling to other areas by taxi, bus or subway is both easy and convenient). Both double and single occupancy apartments are available. 

Shared Apartments
All of our new and modern apartments are fully furnished and comprise of two or three bed-rooms, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. The living room has a sofa, coffee table, TV (including cable), chairs, internet access, telephone and DVD player. Each bedroom consists of a bed, desk, chairs, and a large closet for clothes and personal belongings. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and basic cooking utensils. Private room occupancy is provided.

Private Apartments
For convenience and privacy students can also choose to have a private apartment. Each new and modern apartment is equipped with a bedroom, a living room, a bathroom and a kitchen. The living room has sofa, coffee table, TV (including cable), chairs, Internet access, telephone and DVD player. Bedrooms consist of a bed, desk, chairs, and large closet for clothes and personal belongings. The kitchen is equipped with a refrigerator, microwave and basic cooking utensils.

Hotel
Students also have the option of living in a four star hotel* in Beijing’s Guo Mao district. Each room is fully equipped with modern furniture, bed, private bathroom, fridge, satellite TV, air conditioning, and telephone（IDD and ISD). The hotel offers daily housekeeping and laundry services, as well as, recreational facilities, such as a swimming pool and gym. Included in the cost of the accommodation are daily breakfast, broadband internet, electricity, and water. There are traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean and western restaurants, massage centers, and supermarkets all within walking distance.
