In the afternoon of April 11st 2009, I performanced the Henan opera(Yuju)—“Hua mulan” in “Sanquan apartment”.
One thousand year ago, Hua mulan was a daughter of a famous general. While she was 17 years old,the emperor wanted Hua mulan’s father to go to the border area for defending. But Hua mulan’s father is pretty old and her brother is too small...therefore, Hua mulan pretended a boy and joined the army...
What I performanced of the part was that Hua mulan was trying to convince a soilder who thought girls are always weaker than boys
