Types of lessons
Capital Mandarin School can offer Chinese classes which include Grammar input, Reading Writing and Speaking for students to learn Chinese at all levels ranging from Complete Beginner to Higher Advanced.

The Academic Director will assess each student on their first day by means of a written placement test and an oral interview. This will enable the school to place each student in the correct level to learn Chinese at the start of their course.

General Chinese

Aimed at:
Students who want to improve their oral Chinese and living in China comfortable.

Benefits of doing this course:
Capital Mandarin teaches through the communicative method and particular emphasis is placed on enabling the student to communicate effectively in Chinese.

Methodology:
Progress in learning Chinese is monitored by continuous assessment from the Chinese language teacher, tutorials and internal tests.

Intensive General Chinese

Aimed at:
This course is dedicated to students who have specific learning objectives. 15 classes of General Chinese build up the core skills and the 10 classes of 1 on 2 give the student the opportunity to work on the areas they find most challenging.
Benefits of doing this Course:
Students can develop Listening and Speaking skills and are constantly encouraged to develop learner autonomy. Methodology:
Students can work at their own pace. Personal Study Programme teachers produce the most effective programme for each student.

Academic Chinese Programme

This Academic Chinese programme includes 15 hours a week of classroom teaching and 10 hours a week of 1 on 2 classes. The 1 on 2 is a tailor-made Programme, designed to suit a student's particular learning needs and learning style. You will be prepared for the HSK examination and give yourself the best chance of passing the exam.
Aimed at:
This course is suitable for Chinese language students intending to take HSK or to study at a Chinese University.
Benefits of doing this Course:
Topic based approach enables students to develop academic lexis suitable for HSK and university. Students can develop listening and speaking skills and are constantly encouraged to develop learner autonomy. You can benefit from experienced teachers specially trained in teaching HSK classes and Academic Chinese.
Methodology:
Students can work at their own pace. Personal Study Programme teachers relate with class teachers to produce the most effective programme for each student. 1:1 tutorials will take place at least once a week to ensure the student reaches their academic goals. When you finish the academic Chinese programme, you can get HSk level 6.

1. Core courses (listening, speaking, reading, writing)
2. Culture courses (Taiji, calligraphy, tea ceremony, acupuncture, massage, traditional Chinese painting)

Legal Holidays: Lessons are not recouped for Legal holidays. The school will be closed on Legal Holidays.
