At Capital Mandarin, we provide high quality Mandarin Courses coustimized to meet your needs. There are 5 main proficiency levels, they are: Survival, Basic, Intermediate, Advanced and Professional. Besides the language courses, we also arrange many culture activities and excursions to ensure that the students can not only learn Mandarin here, but also get to know the country of China and make their lives in Beijing much easier.

Capital Mandarin School has 5 main proficiency levels. First, students are placed according to the proficiency level they indicate on the application form. At the start on the class, non-beginners take a written and oral placement test. Second placements are made according to the results of the placement tests.

Private Course
For One-To-One programs, class times and start dates are fully flexible and you do not need to wait, just start learning immediately and learning Chinese from any level.

This course is designed to adapt to the specific requirements of you, the student. It is tailor-made to your individual needs and interests, and will progress at just the right speed for you. At the beginning of the course you will sit down with your teacher and discuss your requirements and goals. Sometimes you will alternate teachers to give you exposure to different accents and/or to learn vocabulary specific to your business. Unlike group courses, it is sometimes possible to start your individual course on a day other than a Monday.

Group Course
This is the most popular group course and runs throughout the year at all levels from beginners to advanced. Classes focus on the four main language skills of speaking, listening, reading and writing, combined with aspects of local culture. This course is recommended for those who wish to learn the language at a steady pace and attracts students of all ages and backgrounds.

Classes usually take place in three hours a day on Monday and Wednesday and Friday in the morning or two hours a day on Tuesday and Thursday in the evening, although in high season they make take place in the afternoon. Please note that for intermediate level groups and above, there must be at least 3 students. If this is not the case students will be offered individual classes.

HSK Training Classes

he HSK or Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi is China’s officially recognized language proficiency exam.
