1. Requirements

Capital Mandarin School language programs are available to all individuals, given they meet the following criteria:
i. 18 to 60 years old (with exceptions)
ii. Have completed high school
iii. In good health

2. Application Process

Send the following documents (by fax, mail or email) to Capital Mandarin School by the Application deadline. To speed up the application process Apply Online.

i. Application form Download
ii. Certificate or Diploma of previous education
iii. Copy of your passport (personal details and photo page)
iv. Copy of Application Fee payment (bank receipt or check)
v. Passport size photos - 6 (1 week to 1 semester) - 12 (academic year)
vi. Resume (one page is sufficient) (1 semester or academic year)
vii. Reference by someone other than a family member (1 semester or academic year)

Within 5 days of receiving the complete application, Admissions will send a confirmation that you have a reserved placement in the program. We will send an Acceptance Notice & Enrollment form to you.

2. Enrollment
Complete the Enrollment Form and pay the Program Fees (see Payment below) before the enrollment deadline. Please read Capital Mandarin School's program information and Terms and Conditions before enrollment.
Fax, Mail or E-Mail the Enrollment Form (first page) and bank receipt for paid program fees to CapitalMandarin School.

3. Visa
When you have Enrolled in the program, the visa documents (a Letter of Invitation and Confirmation Form) will be sent to you.
Please contact your nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate for the Visa Application Form and processing fee.
Bring the following documents to the Embassy or Consulate:
i. Visa Application Form (completed)
ii. Your valid passport (it must be valid for a minimum of 6 months and for the duration of the program)
iii. A copy of the Letter of Invitation (provided by Capital Mandarin School)
iv. A copy of the Confirmation Form (provided by Capital Mandarin School)
v. Relevant visa application fee
vi. 2 Passport size photos

Applicants should apply for an F Visa. In most cases visas will be issued for 1, 3 or 6 months regardless of the study duration. If the study duration is not covered by the initial visa approval, the host institution and Capital Mandarin School will assist students in extending their visa, however all fees will be covered by the student.
Early Enrollment is strongly advised to take into account the time needed for visa documents to be sent by Admissions and visa processing time by the Embassy or Consulate.
Please note that Capital Mandarin School and the host institute can only issue an invitation letter for the duration of study. Students are responsible for obtaining the necessary visas for their stay in China. Capital Mandarin School recommends students check with their nearest Chinese Embassy or Consulate for the latest visa regulations.

4. Arrival
Send a fax or email to advise your Programs Advisor or the Beijing Office of your flight details: date, time of arrival, airline, flight number, and place of departure, so that we can arrange your airport reception. Please forward this information no later than 10 days before your arrival. Program Fees do not include airfares.

5. Payment (of Application and Enrollment Fees)
Payments of the Application Fee (US$100 non-refundable) and Enrollment Fee may be paid in one of three ways, by Bank Transfer, Bank or Cashier's Check, or by Money Order. Save the bank receipt and fax or send it along with the other documents as proof of payment.

Make the check or money order payable to: 'Capital Mandarin School' Checks or money orders should be sent to the nearest WLE Office by express or registered mail. World Link Education is not responsible for any loss or misplacement in the course of mailing. Personal checks are not accepted.
