Learn Kung Fu from the masters: Kung Fu Lessons in Beijing

Capital Mandarin School offers you the chance to learn Kung Fu from professional, medal winning Kung Fu masters. You can personalize your learning experience by choosing from the following options:

  • Private or group lessons
  • Part-time lessons or intensive course
  • Short-term or long-term program
  • Lessons in Beijing or Hubei

If you wish to do so, you can also join taichi group lessons with local Chinese people. They are taken 5 days a week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 19:00 – 21:00 & Saturday, Sunday: 09:00 – 11:30).

  • Taichi 13 Postures
  • Taichi 28 Postures
  • Taichi Sword 49 Postures

One week program

This program includes:

  • Daily Wu Dang martial arts classes by descendants of the style
  • Strike training class
  • Daily training to help you relax and improve (includes ‘qigong’, ‘baduanjin’ and meditation)
  • Daily cardio, strength, and technique application training
  • Chinese culture courses: guqin (one of the oldest Chinese instruments), aromatherapy (to relax your body and mind), tea ceremony (drink different kinds of tea while enjoying the peace of nature)
  • Taoism philosophy lessons by master Taoists
  • Guided tour of Beijing’s cultural scenes (Tiananmen square, the Forbidden City, Confucius temple, etc)
  • 1 daily meal (lunch)

The price does not include:

  • Travel insurance
  • Accommodation in Beijing
  • Airport pick-up

Two week program

This program includes:

  • Daily Wu Dang martial arts classes by descendants of the style
  • Strike training class

  • Weapons training (Wu Dang style) such as sword, Taoist whisk, taichi ball, etc.
  • Taichi attack and defense trainig
  • Daily cardio, strength, and technique application training
  • Chinese culture courses: guqin (one of the oldest Chinese instruments), aromatherapy (to relax your body and mind), tea ceremony (drink different kinds of tea while enjoying the peace of nature)
  • Taoism philosophy lessons by master Taoists
  • Discussions with Taoist masters and other Chinese
  • Guided tour of Beijing’s cultural scenes (Tiananmen square, the Forbidden City, Confucius temple, etc)
  • 1 daily meal (lunch)

Our teachers

Jiang Zong

Jiang Zong started to learn martial arts in WuDang when he was 8 years-old. After 6 years, his master, Xiao Qinghui, gave him a monastic name — Shimo. Jiang Zong has practiced martial arts with perseverance and consistency for nearly 20 years. He has won the WuDang Taiji championship in the 5th World Traditional Wushu Championships.

KUNG FU LESSONS IN BEIJING TEACHER JIAN ZHONG

Deng Yi

Deng Yi is a teacher of Shi Mo Hui and a member of the Wu Dang Martial arts society. He began to study martial arts in the famous Taoist mountain — Heng Shan when he was 7 years old. In recent years, Deng Yi represents the Wu Dang Martial arts society participating in shows around China, Australia and New Zealand. He also works as an action choreographer and stuntman in films.

KUNG FU LESSONS IN BEIJING TEACHER DENG YI

Yan Pujun

Yan Pujun is the 15th generation descendant of the XuanWu style and is head coach of the Shi Mo Hui. He went to WuDang to study when he was 7 years-old. In 2016, he was asked to see world by his master and started to teach WuDang martial arts. Over the years, Yan Pujun has won many Taiji boxing, sword and staff championships.
